And these healthy kids’ finger foods serve as the best means of the meal for them. It helps them to get tempted to start with and then they grow into trying a variety of food. But the most important thing it needs you to do is have patience.
The more the variety in flavor and texture early in kid’s life, the more you introduce your little on towards healthy food habits. The kids develop a wide palate and does not mind tasting newly added things and flavors like garlic, ginger, herbs or other spices. Babies initially do not need a lot of flavor but they should be given with any added sugar or sodium (salt) – this is very important as most of the parents think that adding sugar to their food will make them have more. Instead, add natural sweetners like honey etc. to make the food tempting for kids. Their tiny kidneys aren’t ready to handle the additives in the food. We have a list of baby finger-friendly foods that are great for the entire family.
